24 needy children learning in the Kolondupilawu Angeikatta Preschool were the recipients of school accessories and essentials, thanks to the arrangements made by 572 Brigade troops of the 57 Division on Thursday (22).
14 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops commanded by Major Chaminda Wanniarachchi organized the sponsorship for the project after those needs were projected by the preschool authorities.
Major General Chandimal Peris, General Officer Commanding, 57 Division attended as the Chief Guest and distributed those needs among kids.
Commander, 573 Brigade, Brigadier Ramith Prasanna, Commander, 572 Brigade, Colonel Kamal Amarasinghe, Senior Officers, Offices and Other Ranks participated in the event.
