To coincide with the Navam Full Moon Poya Day (26), a Bodhi Pooja was conducted at the Sri Vijayangarama Temple in Plantain Point, Trincomalee.
Troops of the 22 Division Headquarters under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, Major General Samantha Silva, took part in the meritorious programme.
Ven. Trincomalee Ranhelagama Aksha Dhakshi Thera conducted the religious observances and invoked blessings on the troops engaged in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in the Trincomalee district and appreciated their invaluable services being rendered at this critical moment.
