940 sets of school uniforms, worth about Rs 475,000/= received from donors were recently distributed among students in six Wanni schools, following coordination done by 211 Brigade under Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni (SFHQ-W).
Mr and Mrs Gamini Kariyawasam of Angulana in response to a request, made by Brigadier P.M.S.A Pallemulla, 211 Brigade Commander had made the donation of school uniforms. Distribution ceremony took place both at Pahala Galkandegama Vidyalaya and Perakum Vidyalaya, situated in the 211 Brigade area.
Both ceremonies for distribution took place during two separate ceremonies, headed by Brigadier Pallemulla and a host of other guests.
