21 Division HQ troops with sponsorship, provided by two donors coordinated a distribution of exercise books and school accessories among 70 needy students at V/Kudakachchakodiya and V/Mundimuruppu Primary Schools in the Wanni area on Tuesday (16).
The programme, sponsored by Dr Ramya Silva and Mr Sarath Edirisinghe through coordination of Ven Lindawewa Amarajothi Thero at Sri Pangnananda Viharaya and Lieutenant Colonel S.M.S Bandara, Commanding Officer, 2 (Volunteer) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment received the blessings of Major General Vikum Liyanage, General Officer Commanding, 21 Division.
Major General Vikum Liyanage as the Chief Guest gave away those incentives to selected students, together with the 211 Brigade Commander, Colonel J K R Jayakody, Commanding Officer 2 (V) VIR in the presence of Principals and teachers of both schools.
