The 144 Brigade's new Commander, Brigadier Thushara Mahalekam recently assumed office at the 144 Brigade HQ at Battaramulla during a brief ceremony.
He signed an official document to signify the official acceptance of the new appointment in the presence of a few Officers and Other Ranks.
He addressed the troops afterwards and joined for refreshments with all ranks..
