Troops of the 143 Brigade HQ of the 14 Division under the Security Force HQ - West in order to help needy students, resident in the Karuwalagaswewa Divisional Secretariat donated a stock of school accessories, uniforms and shoes to students learning at Saripuththa Primary School in Puttalam in close consultation with school and zonal education authorities on 21 December 2021.
Bangladesh-based Mr Thishan Rambukwella, Mrs Disni Rambukwella, Mr R.B Rambukwella, Ms Priyanthi Rambukwella and Ms Mali Perera jointly sponsored the cost of those accessories and incentives at the request of the Colonel Faumie Kitchilan, Commander, 143 Brigade.
The Principal, teachers and several parents were present during the distribution.
