Troops of the 141 Brigade of the 14 Division of the SFHQ-West with financial support received from 'Sevanak Wemu' Foundation bought school accessories to some 45 students of poverty-stricken families at 6th Paul Pope College in Katana in order to stimulate their educational interests.
School bags and writing books were also included in each gift parcel as those students began schooling after closure for COVID19 epidemic.
Brigadier Pradeep Gamage, Commander 141 Brigade, few senior Military Officers, Mrs Vindani Sarap, Secretary of the 'Sevanak Wemu' foundation, and several Other Ranks were associated with the arrangement.
