13,224 PCR Tests Done on Monday (11) - NOCPCO

As of this morning (12), a total of 569 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, were one Sri Lankan expatriate and other 568 are locally-identified ones, including the majority 110 from Kalutara district, 88 from Gampaha district, 52 from Kegalle District and other 318 are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By 6.00 this morning (12), the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda garment factory employees and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster stands at 45,164. Meanwhile, 39,333 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from the fish market (36,274) and Minuwangoda (3,059) clusters have been discharged from hospitals.

By this morning (12), a total of 48,951 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 42,090 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 6,621 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

By this morning (12), 766 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres in the past 24 hours. 08 more deaths have been reported from Negombo prison, Rajagiriya, Mattakkuliya, Rathnapura , Colombo 12, Colombo 14, Bandaragama, Kalutara south, and Kaththankudi area in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 240 by this morning (12).

By this morning (12), the flight EY 264 from UAE with 46 passengers , the flight Q2 6944 from the Maldives with 76 passengers ,the flight QR 668 from Qatar with 300 passengers, the flight MU 731 from China with one passenger and the flight UL 218 from Qatar with 11 passengers have arrived.

The flight TK 730 from Turkey with 5 passengers, the flight UL 1365 from Indonesia with some passengers, the flight EK 648 from UAE with 65 passengers and the flight SQ 468 from Singapore with 6 passengers are expected to arrive here within the day. All those passengers were/were to be referred to Quarantine Centers (QCs), managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport.

As of this morning (12), 6,267 persons in 75 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (11), 13,224 PCR tests have been conducted. latest jordans | Sneakers Nike
