12,456 PCR Tests Done on Wednesday- NOCPCO

As of this morning (7), a total of 522 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, were one Sri Lankan expatriate and other 521 are locally-identified ones, including the majority 206 from Colombo district, 97 from Gampaha district, 81 from Kalutara district and other 137 are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

By 6.00 this morning (7), the total number of COVID-19 positive cases reported from Minuwangoda garment factory employees and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster stands at 42,476. Meanwhile, 36,265 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from the fish market (39,417) and Minuwangoda (3,059) clusters have been discharged from hospitals.

By this morning (7), a total of 46,247 persons have been confirmed positive to COVID-19 from all over the country, including the dead. 39,022 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients have been so far discharged from hospitals and the rest 7,006 are still under treatment in hospitals and care centres.

By this morning (7), 761 recovered patients have left hospitals and care centres in the past 24 hours. 02 more deaths have been reported from Dehiwala and Alawwa area in the past 24 hours. Accordingly, the COVID-19 death toll in the country rose to 219 by this morning (7).

By this morning (7), the flight UL 554 from Cyprus with 201 passengers and the flight QR 668 from the Qatar with 30 passengers have arrived.

The flight WY 371 from Oman with 48 passengers, the flight UL 102 from Moldives with 50 passenger, the flight PS 685 from Ukraine with 192 passengers, the flight TK 730 from Turkey with 10 passenger, the flight UL 186 from Pakistan with 5 passenger and the flight EK 648 from UAE with 70 passengers expected to arrive here within the day. They all were to be referred to Quarantine Centers (QCs), managed by tri-services upon their arrival after formalities at the airport.

As of this morning (7), 4,912 persons in 76 tri service-managed QCs are still in quarantine. Within yesterday (5), 12,456 PCR tests have been conducted. url clone | GOLF NIKE SHOES
