Troops of the 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under command to the 121 Brigade of the 12 Division of the Security Forces Central, together with Policemen raided a Ganja (cannabis) cultivation in Kaluwewa area on Thursday (11) on a tip-off given to the troops.
The cultivation' s extent of land consisted of about 300 kg of well grown cannabis and participation of the troops was closely supervised by Major General Kumara Jayapathirana, together with the General Officer Commanding 12 Division and 121 Brigade Commander .
