12 Division Bids Farewell to Their GOC

A Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour saluted the outgoing Major General Hemantha Bandara in accordance with military traditions to mark the relinquishment of his appointment as the General Officer Commanding of the 12 Division (GOC 12 DIV) during a formal farewell, held at the Headquarters - 12 Division, Nagarawewa, Hambantota premises on Tuesday (12).

Later, addressing the troops of the 12 Division, he thanked everyone for the generous assistance and support extended to him during his tenure. He also left memories by planting a sapling in the compound before he sat for group photos.
