A total of 120 donors including participants Army and Civil offered their blood to the Central Blood Bank during a project that got underway at Abinawarama Temple in Narahenpita on 03 June 2022 following arrangements, made by 10 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) troops of the 144 Brigade HQ of the 14 Division.
Brigadier Vindana Kodithuwakku, 144 Brigade Commander instructed the troops to help patients, needing blood. It was held under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 10 Sri Lanka National Guard troops.
Staff at the Central Blood Transfusion Center in Narahenpita assisted the project.
