A total of 100 dry ration packs, patronized by an expatriate in the US were distributed among flood-affected low income group families in the general areas of Kilinochchi by 1 Corps at Kilinochchi on Wednesday (17) after inviting the victims to the Nelum Piyasa auditorium at Kilinochchi.
Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, Commander, 1 Corps as the Chief Guest distributed those relief packets, consisted of rise, dhal, chilies, milk powders, spices and other essentials, thanks to the sponsorship, made by Mr Senaka Seneviratne residing in the US after a request to this was extended by the Commander 1 Corps.
