To coincide with the International Mother’s Day, Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) conducted a mobile medical clinic at Kilinochchi ‘Harmony Centre’ on Saturday (10).
The medical clinic that attracted more than 780 civilians in Kilinochchi, attended by more than 25 medical professionals was held on the directions of Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN, with the support of medical officers attached to the Kilinochchi District Hospital.
A parallel clinic at the same place examined females of 16 - 45 years of age and pregnant women, in addition to other education programmes conducted at the venue.
Mrs Jayarani, Divisional Secretary for Kilinochchi attended the inaugural occasion of the clinic as the Chief Guest, together with 571 Brigade Commander, Kilinochchi Headquarters Inspector of the Police, medical officers and nursing staff.
