The Army’s maiden Officer Career Development Centre (OCDC), affiliated to the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA), Diyatalawa is to be opened shortly in Buttala with the support it receives from the Directorate of Training at Army Headquarters. The location at Buttala for this academic purpose was gifted to the Sri Lanka Army by His Excellency, the President Mahinda Rajapaksa soon after the ‘Deyata Kirula’ exhibition was held recently.
