In a Community development project, 552 Brigade of Iyakkachchi distributed 2000 high quality jack plants among the civilians in the Pachchilaippalli area on 12th February to encourage them in home gardening. Meanwhile, 50 butter fruit plants and 100 dragon fruit plants were also distributed among some families. These plants are grown as a pilot project in the area.
