Sri Lanka Army women’s soccer team won the all-island Cargills trophy in the women’s club tournament, defeating Sri Lanka Navy woman soccer team in the final encounter, held at Sugathadasa Stadium on Sunday (14). Sri Lanka Army Soccer Team beat Leo FC, Kurunegala by 4-2 before it recorded victory against Navy FC at the final round by 10-9.

SFHQ-KLN took the initiative in this regard considering the series of hardships those villagers were facing due to scarcity of water for all purposes.
