Well-Furnished & Equipped New Community Centre Opened in Muttiyankattu
Sri Lanka Army troops serving the 64 Division under the Security Forces Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) assisted and facilitated the construction of a new Community Centre at Mutiyankattu, Mullaittivu. ‘Millennium Information Technology’ (MIT) and HABITAT sponsored the construction and the supply of a stock of electronic equipment, furniture, electric appliances, cutlery, glassware and a computer to the new Community Centre.
To coincide with the 65th National Independence Day, the Security Forces Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ-W) distributed 100 dry-ration packets and school accessories, valued more than Rs. 1 million among newly-resettled families and their children during a ceremony at Kelebogaswewa Community Centre on Sunday (3). Sponsorship to this worthy project was offered by the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress (ACBC) at Colombo 7 following coordination, done by the SFHQ-W.
