Minister of External Affairs Hon G.L Peiris on Friday (12) toured Kilinochchi area with the intention of receiving an update on development work in progress. During his stopover at Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN), the Minister had a discussion with state officials, tri-service and Police personnel and received a comprehensive knowledge on ongoing infrastructure development projects.
The 63rd anniversary and Army Day (October 10) celebrations at Security Forces Headquarters, Wanni (SFHQ-W) commenced on Wednesday (10) after the message of the Commander was read out at the SFHQ-W premises.
