Computer Education in Jaffna Receives Another Fillip

AS PART OF its community-oriented welfare projects in the Jaffna peninsula, Army troops, following directives given by Commander, Security Forces Jaffna Major General G.A. Chandrasiri took steps to distribute fifty brand new computers among students of fifty schools in the peninsula at a special ceremony held in Telippalai Union College on Monday (7).

That was a day of mourning for this island-nation whose troops were marching forward against secessionist forces under the able guidance of the Lt. Gen Kobbekaduwa.
