Several CARL GUSTAV (RD48mm) weapons used by Tiger terrorists were captured by 58 Division troops this evening (15) in KARAYANMULLIVAIKKAL. Three teenage LTTE child soldiers escaped from the LTTE grip also surrendered to the troops. The video also shows several LTTE vehicles that caused explosions in the area with a view to causing maximum damage to troops serving their frontal defences. CARL GUSTAV portable multi-roll recoil rifle had been used by Tigers indiscriminately against the troops for some time. The video shows a huge cache of LTTE weapons, arms and ammunition that were also captured by the troops Friday (15) evening.
