NORTH: Troops on their search and clear operations in the general areas of KILALY and ODDUSUDDAN recovered three 81 mm mortar bombs, two 120 mm artillery shells, one ARMR nose, six hundred and sixty rounds of T-56 ammunition and four Rocket Propeller Grenades (RPGs) on Saturday (4).

Meanwhile demining groups recovered two hundred and twenty anti personnel mines from MARATHAMADU, DEVAPURAM and KOKKUTODUVAI areas on the same day (4).

On information received from civilians troops recovered two hand grenades, one T-56 weapon, one T-56 barrel, six T-56 magazines, twenty four 40 mm grenade launcher bombs and thousand rounds of T-56 ammunition from OLUMADU, VINAYAGAPURAM and KALKUDAH areas on the same day (4).

EAST: Troops in the East recovered two anti personnel mines from KUMBURUMULLA area on the same day (4).
