The first annual meeting of the National Rifle Association (NRA) for the years 2015/2016 presided by its newly-appointed president Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Force Headquarters-Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) got underway during Saturday and Sunday (13-14) at Kilinochchi.
Commander of the Army appointed Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Commander, SFHQ-KLN as the President of the NRA after the Army was appointed to coordinate, supervise and conduct scheduled events for the year 2015-2016.
Meanwhile, new official web page (www.nrasl.lk) of the National Rifle Association of Sri Lanka was launched to broaden the communication between shooters and authorities, enabling them to be in-touch with one another during National and International events.
The meeting was conducted with the participation of 31 representatives from 14 shooting clubs across the country.
