Troops of the 651 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) distributed ready-made clothes and toys, worth of Rs. 50,000/=, donated by philanthropists from Colombo area among 20 low-income families in Jayapuram, Thunukkai area on Saturday (23).
In the meantime, 11 (V) Gajaba Regiment troops provided refreshments to 60 children and elders who attended the above ceremony to receive their gift parcels.
A large gathering, together with Officers of 11 Gajaba Regiment, Grama Seva Officer in Jayapuram, civilians and invitees were present at the ceremony.
