Troops of the 511 Brigade under the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) with the cooperation of the regional Health Service authorities stepped up its Dengue preventive campaign to face the threat of Dengue in Kopay area on Thursday (18).
The team checked over 500 households and their environmental conditions and educated people on this deadly menace.
The 511 Brigade employed more than 25 soldiers for the project to which 2 doctors, 25 Public Health Midwives, 7 Public Health Inspectors in the regional health sector and 6 police officers from Kopay Police Station were included.
