Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR) launched its official website (www.army.lk/mech) on Monday (30) during a simple ceremony at Adjutant General’s Conference Hall, Army Headquarters, Colombo.
Major General Mahinda Hathurusinghe, Adjutant General and Colonel of the Regiment, MIR logged on the new website in the presence of a gathering, including Brigadier A.M.S.P Atapattu, Director, Staff Duty, Brigadier A.G.D.N Jayasundara, MIR Centre Commandant, Colonel H.M.S Herath, MIR Brigade Commander and several other officers.
The new website, carrying details on the MIR’s history, organization, training, sports, former Colonels of the Regiment, Centre Commandants and Brigade commanders, is the latest addition to websites in the organization.
