Considerate troops of the 5 Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) of 683 Brigade Headquarters under 68 Division of the Security Force Headquarters-Mullaittivu, pocked out their own money to buy learning accessories for kids attending the Kalaimagal pre school in the Udayarkattu north, Puthukudiyarippu in Security Force Headquarters-Mullattivu (SFHQ-MLT).
The same 5 SLSC troops using their own construction skills built up the pre-school free of charge for the benefit of kids in the area since the area did not have a pre school earlier.
Learning that those kids lack acessories and pre-school equipment, troops collected more than Rs 15,000 among themselves and bought those items to the kids on Thursday (28) as incentives.
During distribution, 683 Brigade Commander and several officers were present.
