643 Brigade Donates Books and a Sewing Machine

Sri Lanka Army’s 643 Brigade at Muthiyankaddukulam, Mulaitivu donated more than 300 books received from Asia Foundation for the use of students of four schools at Oddusudan recently (28). The books were handed over to be kept at the libraries of the four schools.

Meanwhile a sewing machine worth of Rs.15,000.00 was donated to Ms. Marimuttu Devayani, an unemployed woman living in the area. The monetary assistance for the donation was provided by the proprietor of Yasodha Holder Manufacturers, Kelaniya Mr. Kanishka Ranasinghe and Mrs. Padmini Ranasinghe.
