    The second leg of the Leadership Training course for the university entrants conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Army has commenced at several locations concurrently. The Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya visited this morning (27) one such location at Kalettewa where university entrants receive instructions and to review the availability of facilities for the students.

    THE GOVERNMENT will sign agreements with an Indian and a Chinese company to reconstruct the Northern railway line from Omanthai to Kankesanthurai next week.The Indian company IRCON will construct the railway line from Omanthai to Pallai while China Railway Number Five Group will undertake the construction of the railway line from Pallai Kankensanthurai, Sri Lanka Railway’s General Manager P.P.
