More Houses for War Heroes

Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB) on a concept of its President Mrs. Manjulika Jayasuriya provides assistance for War Heroes to complete their partially built houses and to construct wash rooms to coincide with the 61st Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army.

Seven War Heroes, four from Gemunu Watch (GW) and three from Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) received such assistance from SVAB recently.

Lance Corporal Wijesuriya U. M., Corporal Kamal Priyantha P. and Lance Corporal Ruwan Kumara D. of SLNG received Rs.200,000/=, Rs.150,000/= and Rs.150,000/= respectively while Sergeant Gamlath J. R. L. K., Corporal Wimalarathne M. P., Private Lakmal S. T. S. and Private Nalaka U. R. of GW received Rs.100,000/=, Rs.100,000/=, Rs.60,000/= and Rs.60,000/= correspondingly.
