Viru Daru Members Hold Vesak Dansela

 Members of the Viru Daru Society on account of Vesak held a Dansela (free offer of food) near Panagoda Sri Bodhirajaramaya (Army temple) on Vesak Full Moon Poya day (May 24) with participation of a large gathering of devotees. More than 5,000 packets of cooked chickpeas were distributed among Vesak sight-seers by enthusiastic Viru Daru youngsters, headed by Ms Deshani Jayasuriya, Chairperson, Viru Daru Society.
