A Short History

The Ranaviru Information Technology Training Institute (RITTI) was ceremonially declared open by the Hon Prime Minister of Sri Lanka on 04 June 2001 at the Panagoda Army Temple Premises. The institute was raised with the intention of providing an education in the field of Information Technology (IT) to the family members of officers and men currently serving in the Army, retired and who had laid their lives or who had been disabled due to the cruel war that has been ravaging in this country for the last two decades. Initial funding for this institute was provided by the National Apparel Exporters Association (NAEA)
