Mock Operation at Welikanda Railway Station Catches Two Insurgents

The 4th day of the mock Field Training Exercise (FTX), 'Cormorant Strike' this morning (9) at Welikanda Railway Station launched a mock operation to demonstrate how two insurgents hiding in a train compartment were apprehended following intelligence received by the troops under training from an informant.

For this, two Special Forces rider teams responded with their maximum capabilities in support of four Urban fighting teams including foreign troops.
