Division ‘A’ matches of the Army Inter Regiment Cricket Tournament are now in progress.
Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME), Corps of Engineer Services (CES), Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC), Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) and Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) cricketers won those preliminary matches, held during July 27-30.
Matches will be continued at the Panagoda Army Cricket ground and Matthegoda Engineers Cricket ground.
Results are as follows;
SLEME vs SLNG-SLEME won by 8 wickets
SLASC vs CES - CES won by 28 runs
SLSR vs SLAC-SLAC won by 86 runs
SLCMP vs SLLI -SLCMP won by 7 wickets
SLA vs SLNG - SLA won by 128 runs
