‘Yalu-Tholen’ Programme at SF-J to Further Promote Knowledge on ‘Humanity’

With the objective of further strengthening and imparting knowledge to the soldiers, connected to sensitivities, associated with ‘humanity’, ‘human life’ and also enabling the soldiers to gain a wider spectrum of understanding, concerning those issues, and responsibilities in correct perspective, a novel programme, named ‘Yalu-Tholen’ under the theme ‘All are Humans’, got underway at the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna (SFHQ-J) on Saturday (21), sponsored by the ‘Sunday Apple’ Newspaper team, based on the concept ‘Human Connectivity and Humanity Development’.

The programme was organized by the SFHQ-J on the directions of the Commander Security Forces - Jaffna (SF-J), Major General Mahesh Senanayake to coincide with the ongoing projects, related to ‘Reconciliation and Co-existence in Post war Scenario’. A few hundreds of officers and soldiers attended the session.

At the end of the event, Commander, SF - J and the Apple Team exchanged mementos as gestures of goodwill. Senior Staff Officers, Officers and soldiers participated in the event.
