A Bodhi Pooja programme was organized by the troops of Security Force Headquarters - Central (SFHQ-C) on the directions of Major General A.P. De Z Wickramaratne, Commander, SFHQ-C, on Medin Full Moon Poya Day (22) in order to transfer merits on fallen War Heroes and invoke blessings on serving Army personnel and civil employees of the Army.
Ven. Gampaha Vijithavansa Thero, delivered a valuable Dhamma Sermon during the ‘Bodhi Pooja Pinkama’ held at Bodhikanda Temple, Diyatalawa.
Major General A.P. De Z Wickramaratne, together with senior officers, officers, other ranks and civil employees of the Army serving in the SFHQ-C participated in the event.
