Workshop to Promote Artistic Talents of Paranthan Students Held

In order to help enhance children’s knowledge on drawings, the Security Forces Headquarters - Kilinochchi (SFHQ-KLN) in coordination with the 6 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, took initiative to organize a workshop on drawing for more than 87 children of year 1-13 grades learning at Paranthan Hindu Maha Vidyalaya in the 662 Brigade area.  

Pentium 2000 Company Ltd sponsored the arrangement and provided lecture assistance of Mr W.P.K Ilangakoon, Design Instructor at Pentium 2000 Company Ltd. All the participants received crayon clay stick boxes and water colour boxes as gifts before the workshop ended.

Refreshments and other facilities to the participants were provided by 18 (V) Gajaba Regiment (GR) troops serving the area. The occasion was attended by 662 Brigade Commander, 18 (V) GR Commanding Officer and teachers attended the inauguration of the workshop.

Major General Udaya Perera, Commander, SFHQ-KLN has given blessings to the arrangement.
