Workshop on Adjutant’s Roles Ends

A workshop, designed to enhance the knowledge on subjects, related to the roles of adjutants in the Army, took place at the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) Headquarters at Boyagane during February 6 - 7.

24 officers serving different Battalions of the VIR during the arrangement were enlightened on theoretical and practical aspects of an adjutant’s roles in the organization and general concerns of their duties.

Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Colonel of the Regiment, VIR graced the final awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest and gave away certificates and awards to the participants during a simple ceremony on Thursday (9) at the VIR Headquarters, Boyagane.

Brigadier W.S Ariyasinghe, Centre Commandant, VIR delivered the opening address and welcomed the day’s Chief Guest to the occasion.
