West Troops Join Religious Programme

Over 1500 Army personnel of the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) in order to enhance the spiritual advancement and connectivity on Saturday (25) at Panagoda Sri Bodhirajaramaya observed 8 precepts (Ata Sil) on account of Nikini Poya day.

On the instructions of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake and under the guidance of Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage, Chairman, Army Buddhist Association, Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) and Gajaba Regiment (GR) troops organized the day’s meditation and ‘Sil’ programme.
