Wanni Women’s Volleyball Championship-2015 Ends

4 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) emerged as the Champions of the Wanni Women’s Volleyball Championship-2015 beating 2 (V) SLAWC.

Wanni Women’s Volleyball Championship-2015 was organized by the 4 (V) SLAWC and the final ceremony was held at the 56 Division Volleyball Court on Thursday (5). In the meantime, an exhibition volleyball match was played between the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Volleyball team and Gampaha Golden Birds Women’s Volleyball team.

Major General Boniface Perera, Commander Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W) graced the final ceremony as the Chief Guest and awarded the trophies and certificates to the winners.

Lance Corporal S.R.I Lakmini of 4 (V) SLAWC was adjudged as the Best Attacker in the tournament and Lance Corporal A.A.N.S Perera of 4(V) SLAWC was awarded as the Best Passer.
