Troops of the 21 Division serving under the Security Force Headquarters – Wanni (SFHQ-W) organized a ‘Poson Bethi Gee Saraniya’ (devotional songs) at Anuradhapura Sandahiru Seya premises on Monday (20) on the instructions of the Commander, Security Forces -W, Major General Boniface Perera.
The programme received added colour with the arrival and the blessings of Ven. Pallegama Sirinivasa Thero, Chief Incumbent, Atamasthanadhipathi who was respectfully received by the Commander, Security Forces -W on arrival there.
Troops of the SFHQ - W and Dhamma School children of Sri Sanghamiththa Dhamma School, Thanthirimalaya and Sri Ananada Dhamma School, Mannar Junction, Pemaduwa presented Bethi Gee before hundreds of devotees, Buddhist monks, civilians, and military personnel.
Exhibition of Poson lanterns was also held at the same place and all the civil participants enjoyed dinner (Rice Dansela) organized at ‘Sandahiru Seya’ premises.
