Australia-based philanthropists, Mr Prithi Gajanayake and his family members through coordination done by 212 Brigade Commander, Colonel Anil Peiris had now come forward to build one more house for a needy family in the general area of Adiraanigama, Ihala Halmillewa, Eppawala, giving a stimulant to the Security Force HQ - Wanni’s (SFHQ-W) ongoing construction of houses for the needy.
The foundation-laying ceremony for this new house took place on Sunday (19) with the participation of the beneficiaries, Mrs A.A Anusha Dilrukshi and her four children at Adiraanigama, Ihala Halmillewa, Eppawala. The ceremony was attended by the Commander, 212 Brigade, Colonel Anil Peiris as the Chief Guest.
The troops of 7 (V) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps under the 212 Brigade have undertaken the construction work with the concurrence of the Wanni Commander and the General Officer Commanding, 21 Division.
Divisional Secretary Thalawa, Mr N.H.R Nishantha, Senior Officers of SFHQ-W, Commanding Officer, 7 (V) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) and family members of beneficiaries and civilians attended the occasion. short url link | Ανδρικά Nike
