The certificate awarding ceremony of the annual and biannual vocational courses in the year 2015 conducted at the Army Vocational Training Centre at Non Commissioned Officers Training School (NCOTS) in Kalaoya was held on Monday (18) under the patronage of Major General Mano Perera, Commander, Army Training Command (ARTRAC).
A total of 119 participants received certificates from the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering, Major General Perera emphasized on the importance of vocational training for those who are about to retire from the Army. Mr. W. J. Wijedasa, Deputy Director, Vocational Training Authority (VTA) – Anuradhapura, Commandant, NCOTS, senior officers, officers and other ranks witnessed the event.
After the event, Major General Mano Perera visited the Training School area and inquired into the facilities available.
