Lieutenant Colonel Robert Ross, Defence Attaché at the US Embassy paid a courtesy call on Major General Boniface Perera, Commander, Security Force Headquarters -Wanni (SFHQ-W) at the SFHQ-W on Thursday (11).
The discussion centered on different roles being carried out by Wanni troops in the region for the best interest of the public. Moreover, Wanni Commander further explained the concept of ‘Harmony’ among civil society members and the Army and the ongoing de-mining process in the SFHQ-W areas.
The meeting culminated with an exchange of mementos.
