VAVUNIYA: THE Visiting Obstetrician Gynecologist (VOG) of the VAVUNIYA hospital was shot dead by unidentified gunmen Monday (20) evening around 7.00 p.m..
The victim, Dr. MEERA MOHIDEEN (53), who sustained fatal injuries in the shooting later succumbed to his injuries.
Another doctor named JEYARUBAN who was in the vicinity at the time of the incident was also injured.
The VAVUNIYA Police are conducting investigations.
