Troops of the 4 Special Forces (SF) and the 2 Commando Regiment (CR) with the objective of further sharpening their knowledge on conduct of operations against enemy hideouts carried out two more raids on Thursday (20) at Madurankernikulam and Narakamulla areas in the East.
4 SF troops with soldiers of the People’s Liberation Army of China struck enemy hideouts by rappelling from a helicopter and got hold of the area. Meanwhile, 4 eight-man teams of the 2 CR troops using parachutes reached enemy targets in Narakamulla area and destroyed hideouts after verifying information about their movements.
