Sri Lanka Army-managed Air Travel Services (Pvt) Ltd of the Directorate of Movement, adding a new feature to its travel services organized ‘Dambadiwa’ pilgrimages (No 25 and No 26) for family members of officers, members of the armed forces and children in October and November since the duration coincided with the Buddhist Cheevara months in India too.
Family members of 38 officers and 19 other ranks joined Bodhgaya Katina Pooja during the 12-day programme (October 31 - November 14).
The package provided up and down air tickets, food and hotel accommodation, road transport and other facilities of the best standards.
