A workshop that educates Army officers on dangers of drugs, drug addiction, use of drugs, prevention from drugs, etc, got underway at Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) auditorium for two days (May 7 - 9).
Organized by the Directorate of Psychological Operations of the Army Headquarters, the two-day workshop was coordinated by Dangerous Drug Prevention National Board.
Award of certificates to 29 attendees took place on Friday (9) at the same venue. Mrs L Silva Chandrasena, Chairperson, Dangerous Drug Prevention National Board, Brigadier B.H.M.A Wijesinghe, Director, Directorate of Psychological Operations, Brigadier K.J Jayaweera, Director Media, Army Headquarters and Colonel K.A.A Udaya Kumara of Directorate of Training attended the award ceremony.
