Two-day Workshop ‘Sathuta’ on ‘Health Promotion’ Held for 54 Division Troops

Troops of the 54 Division serving the Security Force Headquarters-Wanni (SFHQ-W), together with the health promotion unit of the Rajarata University organized the workshop ‘Sathuta’ during 2 - 3 November at the 54 Division, Mannar.

On the instructions of the Commander, SF - W organized the workshop closely supervised by the General Officer Commanding, 54 Division.

Around 125 Other Ranks and 15 civil employees of the 54 Division, under command Brigades and Battalions assembled there to participate in the workshop.

15 instructors, headed by Mr. Duminda Guruge, Senior Lecturer at Rajarata University covered related areas such as ‘Family and Child Health’, ‘Sexual Education’ and ‘Prevention from drugs’ during the lecture session.

The workshop included lectures and outdoor sessions.

All participants extended their gratitude to the Commander, SFHQ-W and tokens of appreciation were presented to the instructors by the General Officer Commanding 54 Division towards the end of the arrangement.
