Troops Undertake Construction of Shrine at Trincomalee Divulwewa Temple

General Officer Commanding (GOC), 22 Division, Major General Aruna Jayasekara at the invitation of Ven Dehiowita Piyathissa Thero, Incumbent, Maha Divulwewa Purana Raja Maha Viharaya, Trincomalee laid the foundation stone for construction of the temple’s shrine room (Vihara Geya) at the auspicious minute on Tuesday (21).

221 Brigade troops with the financial support given by the ‘Samadhi Vandana Foundation’ have undertaken to build the shrine within a few months.
